This portfolio piece features my own personal brand. I designed this collection of giveaways to be distributed at the Art Institute of California – San Francisco's 2018 Winter Portfolio Show and as well as interviews, job fairs, trade shows, and designer meetups.
I pride myself in innovative visual concepts that are revitalizing, distinguished, and adaptable. In response to this design philosophy, I conceptualized a monogram that uses my initials to represent the ocean, a symbol that embodies these qualities as well reflects my heritage as a Filpino-American . I used brush strokes to make the letter M into an ocean wave and the lobe of the letter P into the sun. This graphical theme was used consistently across all giveaways, including business cards, tote bags, and bottle openers.
