St. Catherine of Siena

St. Catherine of Siena in Vallejo, California is a Catholic Parish in the Solano Deanery of the Diocese of Sacramento. The members of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church aim to create a diverse community where all are welcome. They seek to promote spiritual growth and stewardship and to live, teach, and preach messages of love, justice and forgiveness. The Pastor and members of the parish office reached out to me in request of a needed website revamp.

I worked toward redesigning the St. Catherine of Siena website with an appealing user experience and user interface in mind. I first made wireframes in InDesign to visualize the website layout. Through feedback and testing from parishioners, I also explored how users would interact with the website generating new ideas for refinement. I developed the wireframes further before translating them into digital mockups. The digital mockups were used as the framework for coding and developing the current website.
